Upcoming project
I've been thinking for a while about making a website related with the dreamcast. However I would like to make something different, something that could be useful in the future.
I am talking about a "backup database". As we all know, in the past few years, the DC has been falling so deeply among everyone and though the number of websites that still remain around there, are getting smaller and smaller every time... It is so sad when I find some DC hyperlinks that are broken and can't be restored anymore.
Now that I am getting even more fanatic with our beloved little white box, I thought that it was time to make a DC revival!
My idea would be to backup the most interesting old web pages that are not updated anymore and gather them all in a database, so later when the official ones went down, there would be a place where people could still enjoy them.
Of course I am strongly considering on making a page with reviews and stuff done by myself!
I would like you guys to give me some feedback, referring to the websites you would like to see backuped.
Here are 2 websites that I would like to see them backuped for future reference:
-GameSpot (all the DC database that still remains)
-dreamcastsource.co.uk

DC presents under the Christmas Tree?
Christmas is coming everyone! Guess what I asked Santa Clause? I don't think so!
Since I haven't posted in a while, here's what going on around my "inn" ;)
Since I haven't posted in a while, here's what going on around my "inn" ;)
To start with here's some new additions to my small PAL collection:
I know you guys should be saying that it's a shame that I still didn't own some of these classics, but whatever...
I know you guys should be saying that it's a shame that I still didn't own some of these classics, but whatever...
- Soul Calibur (3D Fighting)
- Snow Surfers (Sports game)
- Capcom Vs SNK (2D Fighting)
- Space Channel 5 (Rhythm Action game)

Got those from a portuguese bidding website like ebay. Unfortunatly the cases have some cracks (apart from the SC5 wich is completly damaged), the most wanted and expensive "Capcom Vs SNK" was not that bad, plus all games own their original instruction manuals!
Back to the topic, are you guys going to get any related Dreamcast stuff for Christmas? Leave your comments!
Here, the DCinn is getting some pretty cool stuff..
Take a look at the following pics of the stuff I am awaiting. As soon as they arrive I'll post official photos here!
Note: I am just showing what's going on around here, don't wanna intimidate anyone with what I am getting for Christmas. I got this stuff for cool prices, and won't receive all for the Christmas day, however they will arrive later due to the postage costs... Just wanted to make sure nobody could get offended =)

Good news/ Bad news
Sup everyone!? Lots of things have happened today! Some were good and others not that good, but nothing to worry about!
The good news!
It's 3h 50min from the morning, and I am still awake! I finally got my DC (actually Treamcast), online!! =D I haven't been online for 3 or 4 years!! Right now, I had the pleasure to play again my beloved game, PSO! However, this time I did it on Schthacks private server. Fortunately I found it easy, simply downloaded his .vmi file, containing PSOver.2 EU codes for codebreak, and then ran everything! Piece of cake!
I only had some troubles (well, big headaches!) while setting up the DC configuration ISP.
Anyways, now that I am done, I am ready to start thinking about getting a PC-DC server, because dial-up network is way to expensive for me.
The bad news!
Before getting online with my Treamcast, I was preparing everything to go online with my old Dreamcast. Unfortunately while changing the controller, one (a second hand one) got stuck into the port A. At that exact moment, I tried to take it out, and my TV screen got weird.
To sum up, I restarted my DC and when I tried to used my analogue stick, it just happened not to work. Yea, I blew up the F1 resistor more or less what happened with the GagaMan(n)a few days ago!
Picture of the day:
While setting up my DC connection, I asked for some help to a guy called Starwalker, from dreamcast.onlineconsoles.com. Later, with some of his advices I got everything to work on Planetweb 3.

DC Games Collection
Hello everyone once again!
During the summer holidays I have been raising my DC games collection. I got more than 70 titles in less than a month I guess, which I think it's not bad (talking about bootlegs). In addition to that, I am planning on buying some empty CD cases, so I can download the game covers, print them and pack them into it. Since I am not rich to buy every single game that came out for the console, I am making my own collection, not distributing those pirated games to anyone. Take in mind this is for private use only.
About my original games collection, I have around 12 tittles. Which are the following:

Next time I'll probably post some Treamcast pictures and its review.
Until then, take care!

New Blog!
Welcome to Dreamcast Inn Blog!
On this blog, you'll be able to know every single piece of news related with the Sega Dreamcast!
In addition to that, I'll post some daily issues or nice things I come up with, while using my DC stuff.
Right now, I am making a collection of almost all games I can find. It's awesome to think that the Dreamcast is not dead yet, and there are still new games (especially shooter ones) being officially released in Japan nowadays! More than 900 games are available for the Sega Dreamcast! Isn't that cool?
There are also plenty of homebrew developers working on it.
We can't forget that the DC was the first game console which featured online gaming!
Unfortunately, there are just a few games that are still playable online! We still got PSO on Schthacks private server! Not bad! =)
By the way.. did I already mention that the Dreamcast is not dead yet? Yeah, and we have got lots of fans around the world playing it's games and dreaming about new releases! If you got your old DC hidden somewhere at your house, just go pick it up and enjoy the time you played when it got up to 6 billion players and everyone thought it was the best gaming experience ever!
Still thinking
Here's a CNN clip, which shows what was going on just days away from DCs release:
